5. I don't think Clooney's charecter knew the exact means
that the CIA was going to use. My guess was the sooner he could warn the prince the better.
A number of people I knew came out of that film scratching their heads, they seem to have a hard time with the ambiguity in the film. They expected good guy vs. bad guy but that's not what they saw in the film.
I do know one person that used to work for an energy market consulting firm. She said the way the film portrayed the petroleum business was about as accurate as one could hope to see.
10. Remember the scene where the two CIA people are talking with
their boss about Clooney? He basically tells them that the agency needs to distance themselves from him and gives some suggestions on what should be done. Clooney is seen as a "loose cannon" -- an agent who has outlived his "usefullness". The agency no longer trusts him.
