Question about Syriana **Spoiler Alert**
When Clooney intercepted the caravan and was waving the white sheet...was he warning the prince or marking the car for the nice men above?

Basically...was Clooney a bad guy or a good guy? Thanks.

1. He was warning them- he had been a bad guy who went good
and in that film the good guys and bad guys change and it's all very unclear. Sort of like real life.

2. So...
Why wasn't he more forceful...like get the fuck out of the car - a missle is about to rain down on your ass.

3. He wasn't close enough for them to hear him
At least that's what I remember.

I saw it a long time ago...did he get blown up too?

4. Had he been more forceful,
I'm sure he would have gotten shot by one of the guys guarding the prince.

I was very upset by the ending. :(. Good movie.

5. I don't think Clooney's charecter knew the exact means
that the CIA was going to use. My guess was the sooner he could warn the prince the better.

A number of people I knew came out of that film scratching their heads, they seem to have a hard time with the ambiguity in the film. They expected good guy vs. bad guy but that's not what they saw in the film.

I do know one person that used to work for an energy market consulting firm. She said the way the film portrayed the petroleum business was about as accurate as one could hope to see.

6. So...
what did that have to do with Clooney losing his computer access privileges?

8. I think that Clooney losing his computer access was the beginning
of him being "phased out" of the agency. He was a risk to the agency and they were planning on "taking care of him."

That's my opinion, anyhow.

9. And he was a risk because...
He didn't like having a desk job...or was there something else I missed? Sorry to be so retahded. Maybe I should just watch it again.

10. Remember the scene where the two CIA people are talking with
their boss about Clooney? He basically tells them that the agency needs to distance themselves from him and gives some suggestions on what should be done. Clooney is seen as a "loose cannon" -- an agent who has outlived his "usefullness". The agency no longer trusts him.
