My opinion: DUers spend too much time discussing Free Republic.

Fuck those nazi morans. Why give them anything even remotely resembling attention?

I'd rather talk about cars, or Gary Numan, or, even, god forbid, the Progressive Ideal, here on DU. If I want to contemplate FR, I'll stare deeply into a steaming pile of cat crap.

Maybe I'm being too subtle. What I mean to say is Free Republic and its hate-fuelled, ignorant, salivating, inbred membership isn't worth your time.

I still think we gotta keep an eye on those losers. While it gets harder and harder for me to stomach that vile site, I confess I still visit there occasionally for recon purposes. I honestly don't give a crap what they think about me or DU, I just think it's a good idea to know what the enemy is up to.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many of our fine folks spend so much time reviewing their postings, listening to Rush, etc., rather than doing something more pleasurable, like, oh, I dunno, yanking out their nose hairs with pliers.

It wouldn't surprise me if half of ClearChannel's ratings come from Liberals tuning in for ironic reasons, or to 'know the enemy'. Same with FR's bandwidth.

We're supporting them, by listening to them, no matter our intention.
