Well, I'm having a sad weekend and feeling blue.
I think I'll go play with my doggies. That usually helps.

1. Beer is the answer
If you're feeling blue your body needs more depressants. Trust me.

6. I have a toothache. Nothing is cutting the pain. I'm working with
Kahlua liqueur right now.

The damn bonding filling came out; dentist replaced it a few weeks ago, now the whole tooth is hurting like hell.

I hate teeth.

Wish we were like class Rodentia (teeth keep growing through their lives) and I'd just grow a new one.

Right now, I'm working on nothing at all and the end of a hot weekend.

Rant over.

19. I'd like to join you in class rodentia.
 I hope that you get something that really treats the pain.

And I wish you better experiences with dentists.

30. UPDATE: Thanks, CB. The dentist recommended a "wait and see"
attitude on the tooth. I have some Vicodin in case he's wrong, and he's given me the name of an endodontist for RCT (root canal therapy) in case it flares up while he's gone. The regular dentist is confident the discomfort will settle down, and recommended the OTC product Peroxyl (hydrogen peroxide) in case it happens to be irritation to the gum line.

I'm actually feeling better this morning!

Appreciate your message!

Warm regards,

Radio_Lady in Oregon

26. "How much respect can you have for a Supreme Being
who finds in necessary to include such phenomena as phlegm and tooth decay in His divine system of creation?" Yossarian

ps - What kind of a name is Yossarian?

31. Phlegm has never been a problem! But tooth decay is a rotten joke! **
Still can't believe God had anything to do with all of this. I've been officially annointed an agnostic, or the better label of "humanitarian."

Yossarian is probably an Armenian name. There are a lot of Armenian people living in the Boston area, and many of their names seem to end in "IAN" a great deal of the time. However, I could be wrong. I'm on my lunch break at a commercial computer and can't look this up.

hfojvt, have a great week, wherever and whoever you are!

In peace,

Radio_Lady

**Smegma isn't much fun either, but I wouldn't know.

27. Beer is the answer.
Hate your job? Beer it away and soon you won't have one!
Marriage troubles? Beer them away and troubles are gone!
Health problems? Enough beer and your health problems are over... forever.

And what's his name?

I do recall you had lots of those cuties as puppies earlier this year. Is he from that litter?

The one standing in the outdoor pic is another of our girls, gives an idea what they look like full grown.

They are Skye Terriers, as in Isle of Skye in Scotland.

12. Yes we'd like to go to Scotland sometime. Wife wants to visit the statue
of Greyfriar's Bobby, the archetypal Skye Terrier, in Edinburgh.

13. We were there in May and took several pictures of him!
Scotland is just so much fun -- I'd love to go back, but it looks as if I'll have to settle for Paris, France next year! Jiminy Crickets! We haven't been there since the 1980s.

We're going to the screening of "Scoop" -- Woody Allen's new movie, so will have to MISS Keith tonight. Groan....

Thanks for the option of your hug -- you're a sweetie!

In peace,
