I am so NOT an adult.
Upon perusing the local sales flyers, I realize that Tuesday, July 25th is the release date for the following 3 DVDs:

Animaniacs (5 dvd set)
Pinky and the Brain (4 dvd set)
and
"Hey, I F*ing Shot That" (Beastie Boys concert dvd)

To wit, I say to myself, "Self, this is going to be one videolicious week!!"

I'm never growing up. It's true. Never. I'm completely hopeless.

1. I'd say, my dear flvegan........
That you don't have to grow up......

Haven't you heard the old saying...I may get older, but I refuse to grow up.........??

Well, it's true...for me as well as you!

And Animaniacs will be recognized as a true classic, sometime in the future.

17. When I was 21...
... one of my roommates was totally into the Animaniacs, and this guy was a couple years older than I. At first I was kinda like, yeah that's great but I eventually watched an episode and became hooked. Years later, my wife & I still occasionally say to each other: "So what are we going to do today, Brain?"; to which is replied, "The same thing we do everything, Pinky: try and take over the WORLD!"

(Pinky) Whoof, oh, I'd have to say the odds of that are terribly slim Brain.
(Brain) True.
(Pinky) I mean, really, when have I ever been pondering what you've been pondering?
(Brain) To my knowledge, never.
(Pinky) Exactly. So, what are the chances that this time, I'm pondering what you're pondering?
(Brain) Next to nil.
(Pinky) Well, that's exactly what I'm thinking, too.
(Brain) Therefore, you *are* pondering what I'm pondering.
(Pinky) Poit, I guess I am!

20. Considering your choices
I would say you qualify in what my wife and I call the Gen-X phenomenon. We are the first generation that really cling to that which we enjoyed as a child on into adult hood (cartoons, video games, hackeysac, chiba, et al).

Our parents did not have the luxury of being able to retain some parts of their childhood as they grew. They were the generations of "cast off childish things" and "ADults don't do that". I honestly think this phenomenon is a good thing and will help many of us be more in touch with our children as we grow.

That, and video games and cartoons are just plain AWESOME!

Keep on keepin on...
