I have about 3 feet of snowcover in my yard
and 5-6 feet of drifts in places due to the last 2 snowstorms. I can't remember a year w/this much snow so early. And they are calling for another storm on Wednesday night. ..... Just thought I'd share this useless piece of trivia. Good Morning to you all! :-)

We have about a foot in the Brunswick area. It's suppose to get up to 40 & melt today. Ah, Maine. The way life should be!

5. Yeah, you guys always seem to make out ok.
I live in the western foothills. About 25 miles from Sugarloaf.

Just curious. Who is your State Rep? Gerzowsky or Richardson? And do you have any opinion on the the Mere Point issue?

10. Truth be told
I live on the other side of the bridge in Sagadahoc. I HAVE been keeping any eye on the Fairwinds LNG debate. I feel the impact of that could potentially affect us all in the midcoast area.

3. Boston has lucked out-30in then 6- then 1 inch rain and 2 inch rain
coming Thursday. Indeed at the Airport, the warm water of 43 degrees has kept the rain/snow mix to only 21 inches of snow!

Inland they have been buried a bit. But after the good weather of the Clinton years (how did he do that?) we were spoiled!

:-)

4. Same way here in CO
3 feet of cover at 8,000 feet, where I am. Last year definitely didn't produce storms like this so soon.

Of course, I have sled dogs, so they're thrilled. "Finally!" :)

12. Milwaukee is still green...
Snows have passed on all sides of us, leaving only a half inch or so and, except for places where they eager dashed out to pile it up, it is gone...

14. This is terrible
I moved from Cleveland to the Tampa area about a year ago, and I'm getting tired of shoveling all this sunshine out of my driveway.

Temperature this morning,73. With the wind chill it's about 72.:toast: :wtf:

15. Yeah, well exposure to snow isn't linked to skin cancer
Heart attacks among those who feel the need to shovel it, yes.

18. We would all be in Red Cross shelters if we had that here.
Nothing open unil further notice, the National Guard would be flying food drops. No power, no heat.

It sounds absolutely ghastly....

About how much we got, 24 ", but I only counted about 4" outside the door and we live in the highest spot in Penobscot couty, Maine. The last storm was about 6", the weathermen said two feet. Didn't see anything close to it... I tell you I don't belive anything anyone says anymore...And I am the only person in the house that shovels..:)

20. Isn't driving just a mess?!!!
I was out and about the county and then out your way today. It's hard to see around those snowbanks. And try to find a place to park! Nothing's cleaned out yet.

I was up to the mountain the other day. At least they're happy with all this. :)
