1. "Ivory Soap"
99 and 44/100% pure! Just like me! :-)

When I DO wear fragrance...it's Perry Ellis' "America".

I used to wear Ralph Lauren's "Polo", but got tired of it.

What is it, Arwalden, with you and Susan Lucci?

Oh, and I have my trademark perfume, Ivoire de Balmain, which is damned near impossible to get in the US anymore.

my official "mascot" for someone who doesn't let things get them down and who sticks it out until success is achieved.

that I smell like fabric softener.

Hmmmm... considering I use about 1/2 of the recommended amount, I find that hard to believe.

15. I'm the same...
I use about half the amount of fabric softener AND of detergent...my clothes are just as clean as if I used the entire amount they recommend, plus I save money:)
Thanks to the Tightwad Gazette for this helpful hint.

18. Ysatis
is small amounts. It makes me feel good, over powers the horse manure odor I aquire everyday! Actually, I wear it everyday except Symphony rehearsal day because the perfume nazis will nail me.

23. Perfume nazis...
are everywhere these days. I certainly concede the point that many people wear too much fragrance, which is of course quite crass. I believe Halifax,NS has a scent-free policy and perhaps this is a whiff(hee-hee)of things to come.

32. It is actually
one very vocal player who stands outside the womens room at the breaks and smells everyone who walks in. If you smell like perfume she runs to the conductor. Pretty funny, huh? Somehow I doubt this will get too far, I just go to another bathroom, I REFUSE to be smelled!

21. You mean the one that's still stinking up the elevator two weeks later?
I can't use elevator #4 at the office. Someone used it about two weeks ago wearing some sorta stinkum and whenever I get in, I have to get right back out again or I'll blow a panic attack.

It has to wear off eventually, right?

22. It's probably my coffee
since I can't wear fragrance anymore, or come anywhere near anyone who is wearing any kind of fragranced product. Ahhhh-chooo!

There's some ingredient in the expensive perfumes that gives me tremendous headaches - cheaper perfumes don't seem to have it, so I can actually tolerate a drugstore Coty perfume better than a department store designer scent - but I'd prefer not to smell anyone at all. I just can't tolerate it anymore.

26. Chanel No 5
is my fav. I like the classics, what can I say? I seem to remember Chanel 42 smelling nice too.

I also like Poison (Guerlain?), and L'Aire du Temp, Chloe...etc...

Of the men's fragrances, Van Cleef & Arpels' Czar sends me over the moon! :D

27. "Bandit" by Robert Piguet
He introduced it in Paris, 1944: "Intent on evoking the aura of the outlaw, he dressed his models in villain masks and had them brandishing toy revolvers and knives."

It's actually light & spicy, suitable for work. Other favorites: Narcisse Noir & Mitsouko.

33. Depends on my mood
Frequently, I wear nothing (no extra scent that is), but I also wear just a splash of rosewater. I have always been wearing this Jean Paul Gaultier scent, but I'm thinking it's to musky for me and it's almost gone. For Christmas I asked for one of two scents I recently smelled and liked- either Volupte by Oscar De La Renta or Ralph Lauren's Romance, both rather on the light and sweet side (like me O8) ). But for any perfume, I'm a definate minimalist. Just a touch.

I don't recall which sitcom, but one person asked the other the same question and got that response... (though I'm so bizarre, I wouldn't have needed TV to think up that response!) :D
