I just saw this book at some store. It's kinda funny. The website is pretty cool too.

They try to make it look serious. I read 2 pages and was ready to do battle with the living dead.

If you're looking for a laugh-out-loud type of book, this ain't it. Brooks actually takes the subject matter pretty seriously-- he obviously loves the Romero inspired world of the walking dead and devotes some real thought on how to survive in it. There are amusing moments, but the book is more geared for folks who enjoy the survival-horror genre (and yes, it is a genre).

If you loved Matheson's I AM LEGEND, King's THE MIST or any of the Romero films-- this book is for you. Read it while sharpening your Shaolin spade!
