I'm flying this weekend and taking some audio cassette tapes...
I'm taking them with me in an attache case on the plane. Should I be concerned about the airport's security system (metal detector and x-ray machine) damaging them by erasing or partially erasing them?
I believe some high-speed camera film needs to be handed to the guard before going through the detector but don't know about audio-cassette tapes.
If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it!...:hi:
1. I've had no problem in the past, although I haven't flown since 9/11
(although there goes me assuming that anybody actually bothered to put extra money in security other than adding "ask passenger to remove shoes" to the guard's duties.
