Big hell fun though. Much different, cleaner high than weed.

Fast acting and intense. Amazing. It was a long time ago.

That might also come from their way of smoking it. They would rub the flower tops between their hands until they have a thick tar on their hands. They scrap that off and smoke it.

They also throw the plant into a camp fire and breathe in the smoke.

Kind of scarce around here.

But I haven't seen it in the states since the early '80's. It was a nice buzz, but hard to keep lit, as I recall.

You're just looking in the wrong spots.

Looking at it, touching it, smelling it, smoking it. Damn!

I love the way it smells, especially, and it tastes SO GOOD...

it lasted quite a long time. I remember one time in college my boyfriend got a lot of hash oil but nobody was interested in it. We ended up painting the inside of the paper with it when we rolled a joint. It really helped the buzz when you just had cheap Mexican or homegrown.

good stuff. Crumbled it up and rolled it in a spliff with some toasted tobacco. Had a rather mentholated taste, and a pretty impressive effect. I wound up eating what I had left over. Couldn't get through all of it in the time I was there. (It made the flight home a LOT more pleasant.)

More like boiled and reduced hemp.

But I am SURE, from personal experience, that it goes well with eggs and beef hash. ;)

We used to make a lot of salads back in the day - a nice bowl of "lettuce" with healthy chunks of "tomatoes" mixed in. I haven't seen any "tomatoes" for sale for a long time.

I'm quite sure that salad tasted like bitters! ;)

.........weed was just not available when I was a kid in Montreal. I actually didn't try weed until I was 25. Way too harsh and too difficult to pack into my bong. Hash was what I was used to, and still my smoke of choice to this very day. C'est la vie je pense.......

When I was a teenager growing up in upstate NY (near the Canadian border), we used to go up to Ottawa or Montreal to see rock concerts. We would take some nasty ass weed along and almost everytime, we were able to trade weed for hash.

If I could get it, I would be a frequent smoker of hash.

Maybe it's a good thing I can't get it.

We can't get weed here in Canada (except on the west coast), but hash is rampant where i live. It's everywhere. I don't mind though, as hash is easier to conceal from the pigs. J'aime ca......

I've been lucky enough to have both Humboldt county hash and some stuff smuggled back from Amsterdam.

Is it still smoked by affixing a clump of it to the point of a pin poked through a piece of cardboard, and lighting it; then putting a glass over it and letting the smoke accumulate; then breathing the smoke?

Also, heat two butter knives, place small lump on one and press down with the other. Instant billows of smoke.

That's all I smoked because weed was impossible to find out there. The Europeans like to crumble it up and mix it up with tobacco in a rolling paper, which they call a joint. I hate tobacco so I could never get into this.

So I would always smoke in a bong or pipe, which would get me real high. I like hash. I like weed. One day I want to crumble us hash and mix it with weed in a rolling paper. That would be one hell of a joint.

I ruined a really expensive set of sterling silver dinner knives that were my mother's heirlooms from her grandmother. She has never let me forget about that. I was a dumb stoned teenager. How was I to know?
