...is that they play Metallica on "Hair Nation", Sirius Satellite Radio's channel devoted to hair bands, right alongside Winger, Cinderella, White Lion and Warrant. That goes against every principle Metallica once stood for. That was such a long time ago.

I snagged all their music from Napster years back when it used to be cool. Before... oh yeah, METALLICA fucked that up.

5. Actually in principle I could see the point that Metallica had.
They made the music. They need to make a living so if someone enjoys their music, that person should pay for it. However, Metallica grossly underestimated the Internet and how downloading, at least some of their music free of charge, could actually help them sell even more. I've had all their stuff except for Garage Inc. so I went ahead and picked that up. Actually, just some of the songs, not the whole album.
