Poll question: When I say "no weed!", I mean "When should 'The Simpsons' be cancelled?"
It went into a coma around 2000, but seems to be making a comeback. Just as long as they don't screw up Lisa's liberal character and keep in-jokes and references from becoming total plots (just ask Frank Grimes Jr...), it might be good for a few more seasons yet...

1. Bad Simpsons, if you call the year 2000 and 2001 episodes bad
beat the crap out of most anything else on TV. Why the hell be in a rush to push something out the door when it is still worth several chuckles an episode? Besides, what the hell is Bart gonna do? He's type-cast, man. Homer? I supose he could be like Al Bundy and get a gig being a hard-ass cop - but it would be too unbelievable - he isn't a good enough actor to carry it.

Lisa? Hell, there is already a Judging Amy, I don't know if we need another one of those.

Marge, no hope man, her hair is her deal, and it would die with the show. Take her hair away and she is just a shrill, one-dimensional extra on some piece of crap like King of Queens.

Sorry, ya gotta back the show - where are all those folks gonna fid work? Their whole identities are in that show. Don't put them out to pasture before their time. God, the humanity of it - I can already see the crappy movies of the week that Baby Lisa will forced to accept.

3. Some episodes this season have been ok, but I wouldn't call it a
comeback.

I say drop it after this season--it's painful to watch compared to how brilliant it used to be.

Yes, it's still a lot better than most of the crap on tv, but how much is that really saying?
