I've had their pancakes. I've seen their walls. Case closed. ;-)


At one time I worked near a very unusual IHOP. The waitresses were indifferent about service and otherwise tough as nails in part because it was down the block from a very busy IHOProstitution and the clientele of the latter sometimes confused the two. The food was disgusting (I'm guessing the cooks were all drunk or high because half of the waitresses were.) We'd try to warn new employees in advance but every so often one would wander over, thinking this was like the IHOP near where they grew up in Mayberry.
