I'm thinking about opening up a can, with some rice, cheese and tortillas.

How long has it been since . . . ?

;)

My cousin brought me several cans from Las Vegas from the nearby Air Force Base commissary, telling me it was the best he'd ever tried. To me, Gephardt's canned chili was the best in the old days, but you can't get it anymore. Armour Chili was good but I can't find that now either. But Wolf is too watery and doesn't have that great stick-to-the-ribs, truck-stop diner feeling I used to get with Gephardt's.

10. Nalley's is the top brand in the pacific northwest
...although Stagg's has a good share of the market. I prefer my own, but like both of these other brands too altho Stagg's gives me a stomach ache.

12. Now you've done it #@^*%!!!!!
I was just sittin' here cruising through the lounge, not bothering anybody. Wife and daughter have gone shopping (tax free weekend) ...house to myself ,

Then I opened this thread. Sfter readin' half the posts I have to get up and fix some Wolf Brand Chili, so I get up, walk all the way across the kitchen to the pantry ... I look through the cans: Nothin. ... I look on the shelf with the cereal ... still nothin.
Soon I am frantically looking behind everything! Not ONE can of the good stuff.

So now I have to get dressed and go to the store to get me some Wolf Brand Chili (w/out beans, of course)

I hope to hell you are satisfied !

Of course, I could just settle for some Ranch Style Beans (straight out of the can) Decisions, decisions ..............

I like to put them in with half ground beef in a "chili mac" casserole. MMMMMMMMM.

24. Love Ranch style beans.
I make a Mexican soup with it, noodles, and hambuger or turkey meat. Just add a little chilipowder.

I need to make some soon.

Neighbor, how long has it been since you had a big, thick, steaming bowl of Wolf Brand Chili ?

Well, that's to long.

I grew up hearing this on TV, just need a old cowboy kind of voice.

19. Chili is good with so many other things.
Chili Pie

Chili and rice

Chili and pasta (sometimes call Chilimac)

Chilidogs

I just don't like spicy Chili, to much Czech and German in me.

20. Agreed
Yea, I never understood people who like to set their mouths on fire with spicy foods (except for hot chinese mustard, which doesn't burn too long). It ruins the ability to taste.

:)
