1. What's in it?
I love Thai food. I'm making fried tofu with peanut dipping sauce tonight (my SO won't be home until later and he dislikes both tofu and peanuts) and I'm feeling Thai-rific (*groan*). :9

3. It doesn't have alcohol in it.
Here is a wiki article on it:

10. I used to think I hated it too
First time I tried it with my mum, it sucked. I've had it since at other places, though, and it's good. Just a bad batch the first time around, methinks? :)

19. I'm not fond of it either
I could gag it down, but I'm not particularly interested in gagging it down again ...

7. A little bit of heaven in a glass
One of the ways I wooed my SO (aside from my spot-on rendition of Bugs Bunny singing 'What's Opera, Doc?") was by bringing her Thai Tea in the middle of the day on a regular basis. And it worked.

16. Yes
it was...different. My wife and I got invited to one of her co-workers houses for a little birthday party, and the hostess was Turkish, and she served Thai Iced Tea....it was all right, but I am not a tea drinker at all.

17. Chaa yen -- if you come to Bangkok call it that
It's not crack they put in it -- it's sweetened condensed milk. Similar effect. If they make it right, they use a sock to steep the tea and then add about 1/2 a cup of sweetened condensed milk. And ice. And you don't sit still for a week.

There's another version called chaa manaaw, which is thai iced lemon tea. No sweetened condensed milk, just straight sugar. Oof.
