I have a feeling this one isn't going to make it past the home video project. I love how they're begging for money to make a movie that probably only 43 people want to see (check out their meetup.com site).

....I've read that the average cost to an organization of processing a check that is mailed to them as a donation is about $2.

So, we could send them checks for less than $2 and COST them money.

5. i wouldn't assume this is actually the case

If it's a small organization or with volunteers, the checks might not cost anything really.

When I get checks, it costs me nothing. It only costs me when I accept credit cards.

9. I think this is something to know about

and ignore. Something this stupid doesn't deserve serious attention. And I would hesitate to send them anything with my name on it and I think the processing on the giving end of a $.37 stamp would be more than the processing cost on their end. This is an ignorant sight and is worthy of only ignore on my part.
