Anyone know of a sure remedy for moles
I have tried every thing and nothing seems to eradicate these little fuckers, and I'm tired of my lawn looking like a lumpy carpet. I'm at the point where 12 yards of concrete sounds appealing

1. There's such a thing as mole traps.
They're...not too gentle on the mole, though.

2. I've tried them...one that chokes them and the other
that, kind of, spears them. No luck. I caught one years ago with a gopher trap. I seen a dirt mound in the back lawn and I thought is was a gopher. So I cleared the hole and inserted a gopher trap. Next day i pulled the trap out and I caught a mole. After that time, I never had a dirt mound.

3. Take a shovel. flatten the mole hill then strike the spot HARD
with the shovel. Moles can't take it.

I was told this last year and tried it..I haven't had mole problems since.

4. my dog used to dig them up right in front of me and break their necks.
it was tragic, because I didn't mind them being there. She was a stray, part lab, part pit bull. Shouldn't be too hard to find one of those at the pound. (I mean, since you asked for a sure-fire rememdy.)

7. I've heard that putting Juicy Fruit gum in their holes...
...kills them. Apparently they like the taste, but their digestive system gets clogged up. I don't know how well it works, but you'll only be out the cost of a pack of gum if it doesn't work.

16. Talk to 'em
Lay down on your belly next to a mole hole and explain to the moles in a loud clear voice why they would be eversomuch happier in your neighbors yard. Do this two or three times a day for a couple of days and the moles will leave. The sound of the human voice scares them off. Guaranteed. Of course, it's best to do this when no one else is around, or you may find yourself leaving in a padded ambulance.

17. I have had excellent results with (Mole Nots) they should
have them at your local Lowe's. You carefully dig an opening in their tunnels and put a spoonful in.

18. Just let your grass grow and you'll never notice them!
I don't see why people try so hard to exclude the natural world from their yards! Monoculture grass is boring. I love dandelions and clover and wildflowers. I love tiny frogs and anthills and chipmunks!

And I love MOLES!

How can you not love such a beautiful creature?!

19. my cat
I had a terrible problem with moles and so did my neighbor. He even hired a professional trapper but that didn't do much good.

Then I took in a stray cat and it turned out her joy in life is catching mice and moles. She eats the mice and brings the moles to me - for my lunch?!?!? I always say thank you though.

She sat over the mole hills and mole runs listening and then catching them until they were gone. Not a single mole hill in either of our yards!! The ones she is delivering to me now must come from other neighbors.

I am not kidding - I probably had 30 mole hills in my front yard. I used to watch them come up through the snow in the winter!!

22. Moles in my area very seldom make dirt mound and thats why.
they are so hard to catch. Gophers do... visibly they make a nice lawn look like crap in a matter of months, but are easier to eradicate.

27. Moles are carnivorous, so they are feeding on some other
critters. Grubs usually refer to beetle larvae. Moles love 'em so treating for them may get rid of the gophers. Personally I wouldn't worry about the lumps and let the gophers get the bugs they are after. They are also aerating your lawn.

Moles aren't so bad as freaking gophers! Killed a bunch of my plants this spring before the cat finally caught it.
