CD ripper?
I need to get a decent CD to MP3 ripper.

Where can I find one on the Internet, not one of those "rip 5 tracks only then you have to buy it" ones?

1. Good luck!
I finally found one that works called RipEnc. It uses the LAME engine. But back in my Windows days, I never found one that worked even close to the way it was advertised, though I did find several that didn't work at all. Sorry I can't be more helpful...

3. give Quintessential Player a shot
http://www.quinnware.com/

It's supposed to be a pretty solid piece of software. I haven't used it to rip any CDs yet, but I know it can... and hey, it's free ;-).

12. Welcome!
The next step to take is to download a new skin to replace that ugly green and black default skin... :)

and Audioactive Production Studio Professional with the Radium optimized layer3 external codec to encode to MP3. Zero phasing effect (that cycled whooshing sound) with this software and codec. The Professional version does cost $149, but they do have another version that runs for $35. Also a 30 day trial.

9. I believe it's called dBPowerAmp Music Converter.

As far as I know, it's free and there's no limit on the number of conversions you can do.

Either that, or you can just get iTunes.
