Can't even get a fucking local weather report

Our local cable stations are mostly Charlotte based stations. We do have one Raleigh station and one Florence, SC station. None of them seem to ever report the weather for us. As soon as a storm leaves the Charlotte area, they say the coast is clear. Meanwhile, it's hailing in Rockingham and there are trees slapping their tops on the ground on each side, back and forth. The other night after the weathermen said all the bad weather had left the area, a storm came up that broke one of the trees in my jungle/yard in half. I hit the deck when the top of it hit the ground, just 25 feet away from the living room. The tree behind it, though, got broke in half too. Weird thing about it is the trunk is sitting there with an obviously freshly broken top, only the top is gone...gone. I do not know where it went at all. For all I know, it's in Munchkinland now. I have no idea where the rest of that tree went.

I don't really have a good answer to your question. Most DUers are intelligent thinking types. I 'll take a guess and say 'they think it's cute'. Perhaps they should substitute the F-word Fornicate instead.
