Mmmmm...fresh figs....

I just picked some juicy, ripe figs off the tree in my back yard last night. :9 I sat down and ate four of them, savoring every bite. :)

Some pesky varmint or bugs or birds ate all me (me? what am I typing? It's not even Speak Like a Pirate Day!) pecan buds. Nary a one left. I was expecting about 300 this time. :cry:

8. Oh, that sucks...

:hug: On my late grandmother's farm, there are 30 pecan trees that are 70 years old, and some crops never materialize. I think the bugs that ate your pecan buds do that there too. My mother gets really pissed off when that happens, since she's responsible for harvesting them.
