Get out the candles and have a romantic evening together. As long as her water hasn't broken.... The uterine contractions are supposed to help. However, senators are usually not useful when it comes to romantic evenings.

5. The prostaglandins help to ripen the cervix too
Even if it doesn't help, it's a good idea to have a little fun pre-baby because it's difficult to manage for some time after.
