CNN ticker: Nomar traded to White Sox for Magglio Ordonez, ONLY...

if the A-Rod for Manny the slug trade goes through.

Ordonez is a slugging OFer averaging 35 HRs,110 RBIs, and a .320 BA over the past 5 years. He'd probably take over in LF for Manny.

A-Rod is great but I hate to see Nomar leave Boston.

Manny has worn out his welcome in Boston and has shown many times to hustle only when he feels like it, which is not too often. He's a terribly slow footed fielder who loafs often, and at times swings like he really doesnt give a shit.

Good riddance Manny, too bad that you wont be a Yankee like you've expressed during the season while the Sox were battling NY for the pennant.

I'm just real shocked at how the Sox are trying to get rid of Nomar...he's still one of the best SS out there. IMHO, Jeter and Nomar are equals, it's ARod that is heads and shoulders above DJ and Nomar.
And Manny is a loafer..I couldn;t believe he was caught socializing w/ Yankees at a bar during a key series..not cool.

5. He was socializing in the bar after he called in sick for the series

against the Yanks in Boston, when they really needed his bat in the lineup. He's not the same player he was in Cleveland.
