My Poor Doggy!!! Had her teeth cleaned today for first time!
She's still groggy and took a pain pill after coming home late this afternoon. She did eat (canned IAMS), but only in small spurts...Ouch! tender gums... :(

She also had blocked tear ducts, so her eyes were cleaned and have to have medicine in them 3x/day for that.

Poor baby Seneca! Her mouth is all swollen.

1. Awww....poor baby. I hate it when they are groggy, because they
are so different from their normal selves. We have to take Jessie in and now I really don't want to. :( Jessie sends puppy kisses (tender ones) to poor Seneca.

5. bigwill!!!!!
:loveya:

I am good.

I found out that I have tetanus, and had to have some nasty stuff done to my foot, but drugs are a good thing.

My baby girl is on tonight too. You'll probably see her around.

Are you working, or home?

Way to go on Tuesday, btw. I'm so proud of you all.

6. Eww..that stinks.
Hope you feel better.

Good thing about the drugs! :)

I am home. At the man's. I took off work this week. Just relaxed!

I saw your baby girl. I even chatted with her.

She's a sweetie.

As are you! :loveya:

I am watching Will and Grace on Lifetime and eating carrots.

What are you up to? :pals:

7. She is a good girl.
I only like her to be on here in moderation, and okay it when I can monitor it... ( I know...cut the cord already Mom).

How great that you took the week off. Work got busy a little bit for me this week, so I had to dust off the measuring tape, actually put on makeup and go out on the road... I hate when that happens. ;)

You've found somebody SOOO much better! :)

Joe needs to drop out. For the sake of his "beloved" party.
What a scum he is.

15. ...and then having the nerve to say it's a "People's Campaign" as
if, you...The People, hadn't spoken and kicked his ass to the curb.

The woman I was campaigning for won her primary for County Commissioner in a landslide, so Dems are fighting back...with a vengeance. :)

20. Border Collie mix
I hurt for her just looking at how swollen her upper mouth area is right now. Hopefully the anitinflammatory/pain med will do the trick over the next 12 hours. She has to take this med for about 10 days.

21. And, in the long run, she'll eat better and be better. This is what
I tell myself when I think about taking mine in. I can't stand it when they suffer. :(

You're a good Mommy.

16. I look and her and remember what it's like the first night after
having had anesthesia. She's mostly just resting, sleeping, occasionally lifting her head...

And now, back to snoozing...

22. Seneca only gets the best now the rest of her life!
After being an abused dog by two other owners, she knows she has it good.

...and she has TWO beds! She has a deep burgundy velvet one in my bedroom. :D

Hell, how could anyone abuse a dog, period?!

I just don't get it...

Bless you for giving Seneca a warm and loving home.

awww... The anesthesia is probably still in her system and making her sleepy. Her mouth is sore, but she will feel so much better in the next few days!

12. Doc said I'll probably be surprised how quickly she bounces back
But, the med ointment in her eyes makes her vision kind of blurry, and will for the next 10 days.

19. Yup! Pearly whites and my granddaughter won't be saying...
"Grammy! Why is Seneca so stinky?!?"

Being 4, Cara is just above face level with Seneca.

And for Seneca, this is a HUGH!!!1! deal. She's 10, has never had any surgery beyond being spayed early in life, and until I got her acouple of months ago, never really had good nutrition.

letting their teeth go can really lead to bad health problems -- but you knew that.

28. Awww...but now her smile will be bright!
My Shih-Tzu had to have several teeth pulled do to overcrowding and rotting (even though we clean them annually). He was sore for a little while and had to take dog-biotics, but BOY was he happy he could chew his food again! (Our Lasah/Chin for some reason has perfect teeth and no plaque buildup. She acts so superior to our Shih-Tzu and eats his food....the bitch :P)
