I work for a company that makes phasers. I received a couple of questions from our consumers about the phasers saying they were Vulcan and wanted to know what kind of dilithium crystals we used in the phasers. They were wondering if it was anti-matter crystals because it's a stun phaser.
The dilithium is boron and the Admiral determines warp drive status, but my question is this-why would a Vulcan care? It's a phaser-and there's no question of it being used by red shirt wearers. If they were curious as to the stun settings, that would be fine. I guess I don't see why they needed to add that they were Vulcan to their question. Just being curious seems odd-why take the time to send an e-mail or research it if you aren't going to shoot it anyhow.
I have a friend who's a green woman and she was as confused as I am. It's a head scratcher for this Romulan. I thought maybe someone could give an answer or their opinion. Or just make up an answer that sounds good. Either way, I'd be happy-My ears are too pointy for my own good!
