I will buy panties for her, the fancy ones, and I usually get boxers and socks.

17. "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe" on VHS and a cast recording of..
"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". My dreamboat, Doug, is a big Broadway musicals fan. He doesn't have "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". We went shopping with each other in Toronto last weekend. Went to an HMV...a great store, IMO. I wish we had one in Chicago, where I live.

19. This year...
Got her a pair of 1/2 carat diamond earings. Also got her a copy of league of extrordinary gentelmen on DVD. Bought the family a new home theater system (a modest one, but it DOES decode dolby digital and DTS) and a couple rear surround speaker stands, and a new DVD player.
We are kind of on a "media" theme this year...DVD's for our girls, blank disc media, pc/console games...etc.

We too are looking at a turkey fryer, but wer'e torn between an electric indoor model, or the gas powered outdoor model. The indoor model takes like 50 minutes to heat the oil to cooking temp, but the outdoor model will need refills on gas, but IS portable. I was leaning towards the outdoor model since we could use it on trips...etc, but the SO was leaning toward the indoor because it gets so godaweful hot here in the summer(up to 127 degrees since I moved here).

Guess well pick up which ever this weekend...

We wanted to keep it simple. So I got her a book, ("Paladin of Souls", by Lois McMaster Bujold), a Dymondwood quarterstaff, and a NTSC/PAL Multi Region VCR/DVD combo, so she can watch videos and DVD's from her home, (the UK)
