Bruno Kirby has passed away

The man Robin Williams referred to as in more "dire need of a blow job than any white man in history", in the movie Good Morning Vietnam, has passed away due to complications from leukemia. He was 57.

RIP Bruno. And Thanks for the laughs.

8. Aw, DAMN! His work in "City Slickers" was Just Wonderful.
TOO young. WAY too young.

What a bummer!

He was hilarious in "The Freshman," too. AND as the young Clemenza in "Godfather II" during the DeNiro flashback segments.

Bummer.

Every time somebody I like dies, I console myself with the thought that - at least the departed won't have to stick around and watch us sink farther and farther from the America we all grew up loving.

9. I find that I console myself in much the same way
I find that I am thankful, oddly enough, that some of my loved ones are not here to witness what we have become. Yet, I wish they were here to help turn it around all the same.

by name but I did and apparently others did too. Sad news. RIP and thanks for your work, Mr. Kirby.

He was great in that and also the roles that other posters have mentioned. My son liked watching him on "In Between the Lions" PBS kids show too. He will be missed.
