I love it. The s.o. is still racked out, and the thunderstorm clouds are rumbling along nicely. No TV to interfere with my enjoyment of the weather conditions.

:)

2. Hi Peggy!!
 Nice to see you!

Thunder is very soothing to me, in an oddball sort of way. And I kinda like that it's darker here now than it was at 7 last night. :D

4. It's actually only 75 here
Considering it was in the high 90s all week (Houston), this weather is refreshing in more ways than one. :) :hi:

5. Hi Kedrys.

Like Peggy said, we don't get many thunderstorms here in Southern California.
Right now we have a heavy marine layer covering the coast.

I wish we did get one, I like them if they're not too violent.

It would be great to get an occasional shower to break up a heat wave, too.

Enjoy the weather.

Afterthought- I love to play Beethoven during a storm.
It fits nicely.

:hi:

6. Hi Kajsa!
:hi: I had a chance to score a week-long trip to Northern California this past week and recused myself. I hear from those who went that the weather up there was considerably cooler...

I'll see if I can defy the jet stream and send some actual weather your way. :)

8. Thanks,Kedrys.
Northern California got all the rain this
past winter.

Hopefully, this coming winter will give us
more badly needed rain, here.

Think-Jet Stream South! ;-)

7. Kajsa, CaliforniaPeggy
Did you two miss it? We had a thunderstorm about a month ago. It was the first time I had ever experienced summer thunder in So Cal - ever - and it was so cool!

At first I had thought it was a migraine coming on - I saw a flash of light next to my computer monitor and then another flash and thought "oh crap" but then the rumble gave it away. It was great!.

9. Hi DancingAlone.
I remember we had a very brief thunderstorm in South County OC a
month ago.

Although I saw the lightning flashes, the storm never came my way. :-(

But with the return of the monsoonal humidity and heat next week,
who knows what will happen?

Summer thunderstorms are exciting!

:hi:
