I need to track where users go and my networking co-workers are less than helpful and would prefer this department had a totally separate internet connection (and network) altogether. (this is what we call "teamwork" in a republican-oriented world.)
I'm looking into vb scripting with the WH_KEYBOARD_LL hook to see if I can intercept the CTRL-H keystroke and make it do nothing from there. Though there's got to be a better way to work within my confinement, but I'll do what it takes because it's silly to buy 3rd party applications. :-(
Besides, even if I had no record on my local machine, the firewall/sniffer software supposedly tracks all URLs entered bya ny workstation, based on the IP address. If I were to end-run around them, they'd fire me. (hell, I can't do half the things I NEED to do in my job because of what they think is necessary. They won't trust us employees. I stay only because of the people I primarily support to, which is a far friendlier department too...)
I appreciate the idea though, and I'll check out MF for personal use here at home. Thx!
