5. I didn't think it was possible....
but you officially have even more books than I do. Great photo. I hope the baby is enjoying his studies. It will give him a leg up when he starts preschool.

6. that's about 30% of what we have.
Three thousand volumes, maybe? I'm not sure, to be honest. I like for him to even see and play with books. :hi:

9. My den has four bookcases and I am thinking about getting another.
I donated to the library, gave to friends and tossed (obsolete travel) countless books before the recent move. Yet I still had boxes and boxes of them to move. Some I will never be able to toss, they are too good friends.

10. I'm hard pressed to get rid of books.
Most of what I no longer have were loaners that never came home. I don't loan my books out much any more. :D

Yeah, when we moved last summer our friends cursed me roundly for the books...

Books were the least of their worries. Great bunch of guys, as well. I *almost* miss having them around.

After the books, I had to ply the friends with beer before they would look at the piano. :D

13. No piano here....
The sofabed was the difficult one. They assured me (after getting it through the tight corner) that had it not fit, they could have come back with something to hoist it through one of my big windows. That was very reassuring, but the move was costly enough as it was.

I remember the days of helping friends move. Now my niece (not the one with the triplets) is moving in about a month...happily, she will hire movers. We will all be there to help her get settled, of course. The move is only about a mile. Mine was more like 15.

20. true, although I'm paying for the privilege
of helping kd lang come up with ed research topics. What *is* the efficacy of different reform models in raising the reading levels of students with learning disabilities in reading comprehension?

"Songs from the 49th parallel" :-)

IMO, the best set of pipes out there. (kd, though I'm sure the baby will give her a run for the money)
