Okay, DU women..who volunteers to Freedom-kiss elad?
He needs our support. We're DU patriots, aren't we?? The man is working his fingers to the bone over there, and it's only fair that we do our part!

Seriously, being in the midst of a massive software upgrade project (multi-year, multi-hundreds of millions of bucks), I know what a pain it can be. So, I am working on improving my patience. :-)

7. The only thing that's making me impatient...
is there's waaaay to many serious threads in the lounge right now! And it's moving at the speed of light, did you notice? I looked for a thread I had responded to about 5 minutes before, and it was on page 2!! :wtf:

When I was very young, my grandfather took my cousin and me to see the Blue Angels. I remember it was AWESOME--and I wasn't too into stuff like planes when I was a kid.

If you haven't seen them before, you should go. :)

15. My husband took our son, who is a major flyboy to the Selfridge ANG
Air show last weekend. We are still talking about it. Love stunt planes and watching planes fly, I just hate being in them. One of them buzzed us on the freeway while practicing last week (we live close to the base) and I thought James was going to hyperventilate.

16. I used to live next door to an Air Force Base.
My folks still live there. Anyway, every other spring there would be an air show. Most of the time the Air Force Thunderbirds would show up, but occasionally the Blue Angels would be there. We could watch them re-enter formation over our house after their maneuvers for the crowd. All that, and no crowds! For an airplane buff like me, you can't beat an air show!
