Poll question: Why are we awake at this hour?
Edited on Sun Aug-27-06 03:43 AM by GOPBasher
Tell us why you're awake. :)

On edit, for some reason, I didn't put "insomnia" on this poll. That was stupid, since I've suffered from it for years.

3. Got home from work around 3 am
Can't wind down enough to go to sleep--trying the red wine route. But around sunrise, I get the urge for java...what to do?

5. Crap. Why did I forget to put obvious choices in my poll?
That was stupid. I used too many lines for jokes like "celebrating bringing freedom to Iraq."

11. Thanks
I had one Friday night and it sort of went away then came back worse than before. I've taken two doses of Maxalt and a dose of Vicodin and it's still not gone. I just hope it doesn't get worse because I have nothing left with me and five more hours of work to get through. x(

12. Sick
Normally I'm not even home on Saturday night, let alone awake, but I have a terrible upper respiratory infection. I just had sattelite TV installed Thursday, so good timing on that!

13. I always am. Dammit.
Hubby gets home from work at 4AM. We eat and talk; then he sleeps. I read or surf for an hour until toddler wakes up. Continue reading and surfing after feeding toddler and putting him in play area.(or play with him if he's so inclined). Finally; somewhere between 9AM and 12PM I get to sleep. Wake up at 3PM to go to store/fix lunch for hubby whom I have to wake up at 3:30 to get to work at 4PM. Nap until 6PM. Get toddler up from nap and play until 11PM. Both of us nap until I get up @ 2:30 AM for hubby's "I'm on my way home!" phone call.
That's assuming no one ELSE calls and bothers me.
Of course; this does not apply today;hubby is off work--thank god.
