3. ROTFL!
It's the first Chorus of a song.

Like - name that tune? Or, feel free to provide the next lines.

6. Paul Revere and the Raiders did a cover of it, I think.
It was the theme song to their American Bandstand spinoff show from the late '60s.

My older sister was actually on that show. She had a crush on Fang, but she says Mark Lindsay was really nice to her. She wrote a poem to 16 Magazine or Tiger Beat and got a slot on the show when it was filming in the area. Don't know how long it was on, but Paul and The Raiders were the nominal hosts.

11. First verse
In every little town 'cross the USA
There's a spot where the people can go everyday
Just leave your problems and a-get away
Come on down and listen to the guitars play
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, when you hear that beat
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, get up off of your seat
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, let your backbone slip
Let's go to the place on the Sunset Strip

12. Next verse
If all day long you been wanting to dance
Well, all night long you gonna have your chance
So don't sit at home just a-twiddling your thumbs
You can't resist the sound of the driving drums
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, when you hear that beat
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, get up off of your seat
Whoo! Dance, dance, dance, let your backbone slip
Lets go to the place on the Sunset Strip
