Anyone here from Cleveland?
A parishioner of mine has been transferred to the Cleveland CLinic. She was hospitalized in Chicago for three weeks, and her partner stayed in the room with her. In Cleveland, they're telling her partner she needs to get a room. So, my first question...what's the most affordable (decent) place to stay near the clinic?

Secondly, and this is for anyone...my ill parishioner is complaining that she needs snickerdoodles. They're her favorite comfort food, and she could use some comfort. Does anyone know of an online bakery where I could order them...or, better yet, are ther any bakeries in Cleveland that do cookie deliveries?

Thanks!

Critters

1. Cleveland Clinic is a great hospital
They have a Medical Concierge service you can contact to get information about lodging, transportation, liesure activities for out of towners, etc. They can probably get cookies, too. There is actually a really good bakery/restaurant in the Crile Buidling (Bldg. A), I believe its a Panini's. Tons of bakery goods there. Its also not far from Murray Hill - the Italian neighborhood, I'm sure you can finds some great bakery goods there, too.

They also have a guest house, plus links to other lodging information; and a travel agency, too

Its a big campus, more like a little city, but it has lots of shuttle services and those little golf carts inside that ferry you around to different buildings.

2. Thanks for the info! I'll call her now and tell her to ask
for a concierge!

Cleveland is the national HQ for our denomination, so I've asked a couple of friends in those offices to act as pastors for these women. They're feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Thanks for your help!
