Do you wear a medical-alert tag?
Bracelet or pendant or some such? If so, which one? Did you get a "fine jewelry" one or the plain 'ol stainless steel?

No need to say what it's for. I'm just curious.

6. I do
Mine is from MedicAlert. I got a plain 'ol one - bracelet with a stretch band. I used to have ones with a chain band, but a couple of times the clasp came undone and I lost them. The stretch band stays put.

I like the bracelets rather than the necklace ones because I think they are more visible, they won't get overlooked under your clothing. You want the symbol to be seen if you're ever incapacitated and can't communicate.

7. Bracelet; Fine Jewelry
I make jewelry, so my medical bracelet doesn't exactly look like a defective tag. One of my favorites is a bracelet of sterling silver skulls, but I have everything from pearls, gemstones, Swarovski crystals, art glass to plain chain.

It takes some juggling to get all the major conditions engraved; I'm close to having a tag with a fold-out.

8. I have a beautiful silver bracelet that's an official Medic-Alert.

I get compliments from people who have no idea that it's a medical symbol.

9. No, but if I did,
it would say:

HAZMAT Caution! The wearer causes heart attacks and apoplexy.

Step away, or you will die!
