Best Led Zeppelin album and song.
I know how young I am, but Led Zeppelin is probably one of my favorite bands. All of these people were and are individually talented. Together they created one of the greatest rock powerhouses known to man.

For My favorite, I will pick, Led Zeppelin IV (with Physical Graffiti a close second). IV was just great. Yes I know a lot of people tire of Stairway to Heaven, but it is still great, and so is every other song on the album. Black Dog, Rock & Roll (I know everybody is mad about the cadillac commercials), The Battle of Evermore (I need to go see Return of the King), Misty Mountain Hop, Going to California, and When the Levee Breaks. THis album rocks.

As for individual songs: Kashmir. It is just great, It has a progressive tinge to it and it is one of the most complicated songs Led Zeppelin has ever done.

I'll go with "No Quarter" as my favorite from that album, followed closely by "The Rain Song".

6. Album - Led Zeppelin II, Song - Ramble On
My runner up would be Physical Grafitti and What is and What Should Never be (which is also on LZII)

Third Place would be Led Zeppelin I and How Many More Times (also off I)

8. Gotta say LZ IV..
But the unreleased (except on box set) "Hey Hey What Can I Do" is the best song...that song haunts me for some reason.

10. Agreed on IV
Misty Mountain Hop is my favorite. Now if you wanna talk about Robert Plant, I have everything he's ever done solo. If I had to choose whether to keep Plant solo or Zeppelin, the Zeppelin would lose.

12. Physical Graffitti is best album. Ten Years Gone is best song.
Although this is an impossible question. Led Zeppelin is probably the best band ever and they have no less than 5 perfect albums. Even some of the best bands don't have even one. This is today's opinion.

Asking me what my favorite Led Zep album or song is like asking me what my favorite cookie is in a bag of Oreos.

22. Led Zep 1
When it came out I was trying to finish my senior year of college while addicted to opium (interesting conflict). I was a blues freak too, and every night we'd get zoned and listen to that album, which is still one of the great blues masterpieces of all time. "I can't quit you baby", "Dazed and confused" we were. The only LP I've ever had to replace with a 2nd copy - wore it out, along with many million brain cells. Age 56 and I still listen to it when looking for that "something extra".
