2. Because in the past, the lounge was a dirty, dirty place.
If you go back through the very old lounge archives, the sex threads were pretty much out of control and there are minors on the board.

As for "fuck," well a word only has as much power as you give it. Honestly, it's just another word provided people don't get uptight about it.

4. We hear much, much worse in the lunch room.
I'm the youngest on the board, and I hear F-words and worse. But sex talk is kept really low for some reason.
