Wow - the Cooliris firefox extension is awesome!
I just happened across it (or for the grammatically impaired, "acrossed it") a little while ago and installed it - brilliant!

It allows one to look at the target of a link in a little pop-up window just by moving the mouse over the link - and one can then even navigate in that window - and all one has to do is move mouse off the window and off the link, and the window disappears.

It's especially handy at DU for getting a look at what's in a thread without the bother of clicking on it and then having to go back to the page.

I highly recommend it!

4. I have a problem with trying
to get extensions. I get a warning that says

"software installation is currently disabled. Click edit options to enable it and try again"

Well .. I have done everything I can think of when I open 'edit options' to 'enable' .. and it will NOT allow me to get extensions. I used to, and I love them.. but ....

20. nope that did not work when I tried it earlier ...
I even tried multiple combinations of checking and unchecking options. nothing works. I may just do a fresh install of FF and see if that helps. I've checked my XP settings and can find nothing that affects my FF. maddening!

21. ok, good luck. I didn't really think it would. I have update.mozilla.org
under the exceptions, but that is only for Firefox updates.

it's from answer.com. alt+click on something brings up a box with information like a biography, dictionary definitions, etc.

here's the url:https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/recommended/. It's the one called 'answer'
