It's time to take the gloves off.
Dean must go.

There, I said it.

There is a growing movement of people who are totally dissatisifed with Dean as the putative nominee.

I will do whatever I can to see that Dean is defeated for the nomination. I believe that he spells disaster for my Party which I have belonged to for over 30 years.

The time to have the bloody political war is NOW!! Get it over with well before next summer.

1. Why is this in the Lounge?
Shouldn't it go in to the GD candidate's forum?

2. Then which candidate(s) do you support?
I'm not entirely comfortable with Dean; in fact, I'm a little suspicious of all the candidates. Lieberman and Gephardt are obviously Republicans in drag. Wesley Clark strikes me as a little too close to George Bush, and some of the statements he made on September 11 suggest he's a team player.

John Kerry recently blew a hole in his foot with a truly disgusting statement.

Dennis Kucinich is generally my favorite candidate, and Howard Dean generally ranks second.

I just hope the people who want to get rid of Dean are fighting him for the right reasons. IF Dean is a Republican operative, then he should obviously be scuttled. I have some reservations about his reluctance to release his records; that's very disturbing.

But I LOVE his gutsy, antagonistic campaign; it's just what we need.

5. Oh if you think Wes Clark is close to George Bush then read...
"To start: The Post repeatedly misstates my views. For example, I support missile defense efforts that make us more secure; I oppose deployment of any system not yet proven to work." Howard Dean...
