I'm sure it's a very nice gift. I can think of innumerable homeless shelters that with $750 could do amazing things for several human beings.

6. Somehow this seems a little
impersonal. It's designed to say "Gee, look at how much $$ I can spend on a gift!" rather than speak to any sort of likes/dislikes she has. Unless of course, she really is that shallow. :shrug:

Like the others, there's plenty I could do with that $750.

7. The fake ones you buy on the street look just like the real ones
I have a good fake I got in NYC's Chinatown for $10. My friend-who has real Louis Vuitton purses-couldn't tell the difference. They are status symbols, and there's nothing more insulting to people who actually care about labels than if your $10 fake looks better than than their real thing.

$750 to spend on a purse is wasteful. I could buy a whole wardrobe for that.
