Feedback on my website WANTED please?
Edited on Sun Dec-21-03 02:29 PM by LeftPeopleFinishFirs
Hello fellow DUers, I have been trying to update my site little by little and was wondering if you could give me some feedback. What else could I include to make it better? What doesn't work, etc.

Thanks! =)

1. I think you pretty much got your bases covered
Not sure honest but you do a good job, its colorful and stuff. Ive never had my own website Maggie so I can't compare it to what Ive done but you do good.

2. It Looks Nice
Maybe a little too heavy on the graphics for us dial-up users but a great job overall.

3. "Enter" splash pages are usually superfluous
If I didn't want to "enter", I wouldn't have clicked on the link. Like the previous poster said, it just makes it take longer for dial-up users to get at your content.

14. the purpose of my entrance page
is to be able to stop flow to my site when i want to make revisions, i can temporarily close access.

and also i put the counter on that page to keep track of stuff. but you do have a good point

4. Double check this part

Some of the text is overlapping. Wonderful colors and easy to get around. Great job!

5. Nice
I like the photos.
I found it a little hard to read the dark text on the black background.

11. I think on some computers it is dark
Because on mine it is a pretty bright kind of blue... but i've gotten that before so maybe i'll fool w/ the colors a bit

7. Nicely done!
Wow....pretty impressive and great composition/layout.

I agree that you can lose the "enter" page...it really doesn't add much.

8. Your decision to make invisible scroll bars has perplexed me from day one
Change that, and you'll have a website a thousand times more user friendly.

9. Good point
however, the point was to have just the arrows at the top of the scrollbar. i'd like to make the arrows more noticable but am not sure what color it should be done in.

12. the arrows are find
just make the actually scrolling part visible, even if it's just the dark border.

13. Very nice. I love the colors.
A little slow loading, but of course, I am on dial-up.
