1. I'm insanely ticklish...
People exploit this fact to their advantage far too often. x(

4. I can turn violent while being tickled.
I am not responsible for any of the tickler's body parts that I may break.

6. yeah, I don't care for it myself
It seems that the tickler likes it more than the ticklee in most cases.

7. It all depends
Usually I'm not ticklish...but, depending on who's doing the tickling and what they're doing it with...that's negotiable.

8. I hate it.
It's an attack pretending to be affectionate fun. Like someone humiliating you, then laughing like it was all just joshing. If you get upset than you're just a poor sport. Bull. An attack is an attack.

10. I voted "other". I have a child who is extremely ticklish.
And I have one that isn't ticklish at all.

The youngest is the one I tickle on occaison, but when he says "stop", that is it. He has the most wonderful giggle that comes bubbling out when he is tickled.

15. Heh...#1 son is like that
From the time he was a tiny little guy, if I just looked at him, grinned and wiggled my fingers, he'd run, shrieking and giggling.

... I mean it's not like you deserve her tickle torture because you go around sneaking up on her and scaring the daylights out of her all the time, or anything...

I think it's pretty cool.

22. The body's reaction to tickling is actually a form of pain.
The laughter evoked is an uncontrollable reaction to the pain. Which as far as I'm concerned classifies tickling as torture.

28. My son is Outrageously ticklish...
all you have to do is wiggle your fingers at him and he runs, screaming and giggling-then he'll come back around the corner looking for more. He doesn't like ACTUAL tickling, just the threat of it. It's hilarious.
My youngest daughter loves to be tickled. She'll lay next to me on the couch and ask me to "tickle bug" her so I run fingers up and down her back real light (there's a little song we sing while we do this-the tickle bug will get 'cha) . She wiggles and giggles, and tells me to keep doing it. I imagine it's sort of like a light backrub for her.
My oldest cannot stand to be tickled. She gets angry immediately-and I mean REALLY angry.
So, everyone is different and you have to respect that.

29. I loathe being tickled, and I'm very serious about that loathing.
I get very angry if someone who knows better tries to tickle me. I hate it, and I would consider it abusive to me.

Inexplicably, my children just love being tickled and sometimes beg me to tickle them.

31. Wow, some people think it's child abuse??
That's shocking to me.

I tickled my son when he was a baby and toddler a lot when we played (very rarely now, now that I think of it) and I tickle my nephews on occasion. Usually it's quick ticklish pokes that they keep coming back for as part of a game or a short bought of tickling the ribs.

It certainly can get creepy or abusive when some people do it at inappropriate times or with inappropriate partners (a teacher tickling a student for example) but that's true of any physical interaction.
