So, I had a crying child in a restaurant

but as it was my utterly beloved 3 month-old nephew...who can do no wrong in my eyes at all...I really didn't care.

But then it wasn't Olive Garden (not least because I don't think we have them over here), but a most charming independent place with excellent food.

Oh, and we spoke to them in advance and so were in a small alcovette so not disturbing anybody else.

the restaurant was Olive Garden. Oh well, next time you're over here, bring your nephew and go to the Olive Garden. You'll fit right in. But be careful, lots of single moms looking for new dads for their kids.
