3. Just search for proxies on Google,
or use some anonymizer software to get through. But, honestly, mostly it's a PITA.

5. The problem with Google...
is that half the returns for "SOCKS Proxy" are open lists or spam. I don't need an anonymizer (ala TOR), but I do need a way to reroute my traffic just before it hits the packet shaper. I was hoping that someone here would have a good proxy they could recommend from personal experience. (Or even second-hand anecdotes)
