16. I'm not fooled.... you just want my body.
(kidding!!!)

Here are some others that I like:

"Something" - The Beatles
"Again" - Lenny Kravitz
"Strangers In The Night" - Frank Sinatra
"When The Deal Goes Down" - Bob Dylan (from his new album)
"The Girl From Ipanema" - Astrud Gilberto

These are not all sensual, to most people's ears. But they are to mine.

5. It's Been a Long, Long Time. Helen Forrest and Harry James.

Kiss me once, then kiss me twice
Then kiss me once again.
It's been a long, long time.
Haven't felt like this, my dear
Since I can't remember when.
It's been a long, long time

You'll never know how many dreams
I've dreamed about you.
Or just how empty they all seemed without you.
So kiss me once, then kiss me twice
Then kiss me once again.
It's been a long, long time.

Ah, kiss me once, then kiss me twice
Then kiss me once again.
It's been a long time.
Haven't felt like this my dear
Since I can't remember when
It's been a long, long time.

104. It's mostly the lyrics on this one
I don't wanna rain on this parade
But I'm starting to question the love that was made
I'm not looking for just an affair
I want a love that is based on truth not just dare

You will not hurt my pride
If right now you decide
That you are not ready to settle down
But if you want my heart
Then it's time that you start
To act like you're mine in the light and the dark

If you love me, say it
If you trust me, do it
If you want me, show it
If you need me, prove it

You see now actions speak louder than words
So don't just say things that I've already heard
Don't want your body without your soul
I don't want a love who will come here and go

Oh I, Oh I, I wanna touch you baby
And spread my love all around you, honey
And if you come, you gotta show, baby
True love to share...

100. Thanks! The instrumentals are amazing.
The vocals are much tougher to like. But the instrumentals are very, very sensuous.

I'll be doing some more listening.

105. You also might look up Maurice Ravel, a French Impressionist composer
Edited on Thu Oct-05-06 09:35 PM by Swamp Rat
His famous "Bolero" (which was really an excercise in orchestration) is a very famous piece, also associated with the sensual pleasures. It is considered, quite literally, a musical orgasm. ;)

I much prefer his "Daphnis et Chloe Suite No. 2," as it is truly a masterpice and VERY sexy. I recommend Eugene Ormandy conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra WITH the chorus (there are two versions).

107. Thanks, I know both of those pieces very well.
Not sure I've heard the Ormandy versions, though. I will have to try them.

I'm sure there are some other classical pieces.... I may have to research that a bit. I'm thinking Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto and a piano concerto by Mozart that was the theme to the movie "Elvira Madigan" (21?).

109. Oh yeah, Joaquin Rodrigo's "Concierto Aranjuez" (guitar concerto)
The second movement is gorgeous - ear candy. And Gustav Holst's Choral Hymns based on the Rig Vedas. This is just orchestral music I can think of off the top of my head, but I also recommend Billy Holiday and Sarah Vaughn, or music of other genres like classical Persian or Indian music, Brazilian chôros - Villa-Lobos's Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5. (It is sung with no words).

77. The love theme from "Blade Runner," & "Rapture" by Anita Baker
If those don't have your partner undressed in about 10 minutes, they must be hearing-impaired.
