24. I am a fan of any team playing the Yankees. If it happens to be
the Red Sox, then yes, I am a Red Sox fan.

The best series ever was watching the Red Sox come back from being down 3-0 to defeat the New York Yankees in the playoffs.

I live in California and have adopted the Angels as my team. Not much to cheer about this year. I grew up in upstate NY and we got all of the Yankee games on tv...I hated them then, too. The only Yankee I ever really liked was Thurman Munson.

And it's not as if it was a shut out. :shrug: I still believe the Tigers are going to lay them out. :hi: Remember, the Sox were down to them 0-2 and took it, with half the pitching staff the Tigers have.

They'll go on and on about the payroll and arrogant New Yorkers, but, above all, the Yankees are guilty of winning too often. Yankees suck! Yankees suck! It's like they're giving voice to their frustrated inner child.

My favorite is when they equate Yankee fans with freepers; NYC and the surrounding area is always voting Republican don't ya know?

(despite all else that is repugnant about the man) actually puts HIS money back into the team instead of into his pocket.

Yes, they have more money. But that's the way baseball works. FACT!!

It's also the TIREDEST excuse ever, especially as they HAVEN'T WON THE SERIES IN YEARS. If having more money (and that's the constant here, no?) were the only factor, would anyone else EVER win? No.
