Mine: Reservoir Dogs, Dead Presidents, Killing Zoe, Sexy Beast, Heat (for that scene only--all the rest was garbage), Taking of Pelham 1-2-3...

Any others worth checking out?

1. I did like "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three"...

Very taut, entertaining thriller.

Recent films I liked : "Ocean's Eleven" (even with Miss Garage Door Mouth...I mean Julia Roberts)

"The Italian Job"...very exciting (with Mark Walberg looking as hunky as ever)

"Charade"...perfect. Great chemistry between Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. Nice Henry Mancini score as well.

And for comedy, you can't beat "The Lavender Hill Mob", one of the classic Ealing Studio films with Alec Guiness.

Again there is a long and daring break-in, as his heroes attempt to steal the priceless Emerald Dagger from the Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul, but in contrast to the bleak RIFIFI, the mood in TOPKAPI is one of comedy.
