Allright, what does dreaming about my neighborhood being destroyed by
tornadoes mean?

I dreamed my sister, my Dad and I were all in the van (which Dad leases to somebody else) together (which probably hasn't happened in ten years or more) and at the gas station up on the corner (the somewhat shady one we never stop at, nothing in this dream makes sense) and I turned to look over at my neighborhood and a huge tornado was just tearing things up and tossing houses in the air near where our house is. I told my Dad and he said it wasn't that close and our house should be okay, then a barn flew through the air and landed a few feet away (nevermind that we live in tract home suburbia and nobody has a barn) so we looked for someplace safer to go and parked the van a few blocks away at the mall at the bottom of the parking garage (need I tell you this mall does not have a parking garage?)

2. Even though we live where tornadoes are not common.....
your dream might be about you worrying about the real possibility of a disaster....like an earthquake or flood or fire.

4. Sort of.
Other parts of the valley occasionally get small ones, but mostly funnel clouds that don't touch down. There was one in Natomas a couple of years back.

Nah, I haven't watched any sort of disaster movies.
