If Anna Nicole Smith's baby were not thought to be an heiress someday

would the men who are fighting over who is the father even exist?

My experience is the men usually fight over who is NOT the father (them) because they do not want to pay child support.

I know their are exceptions to every rule.

My guess is that the paparazzo wants the free publicity in addition to the possible $$.

ANS' lawyer could probably use some publicity too. From what I've read, ANS is his only client.

OTOH...if neither is *legally married* to ANS, how could they touch her money (or her daughter's) anyway? It's not like they can lay claim to the dough because they contributed sperm. Inheritance works downward, not upward.

Unless they plan to use fatherhood as leverage to get her to marry...
