Tornado warning in Columbus, OH
in the city. :(

Lelapin called me and they've all been herded to the basement where she works on campus. They had a bad hailstorm there.

4. I'm about 5 miles south of Delaware
We had lots of lightning and heavy rain. The worst went right over the city of Columbus.

Unreal.

9. She is
She works in a new building that is all glass. They've got them in the basement, in a locker room until the sirens stop.

12. I think you did.
:)

Lots of power outages and heavy fog in areas where there was hail (from the hailstones melting)

Truly bizarre. The storm that roared through here is now in Columbus and is reforming with hail.

15. I know
she's fine. It's so strange to see rotation in the radar right over the heart of a city this size. And all the hail. Just a reminder that you aren't safe just because you're in a large city.

You made it back! I was wondering about you. 45 minutes in the lockerroom must have been fun - not.

Put on warm, dry clothes sweets. :)

26. It was kind of pretty
I have to admit that I like a good storm. This one was something to see. I live by a golf course that was white with hail, and the thickest layer of fog that I've ever seen. It was surreal.

Hopefully, no one in the city was hurt.
