3. Hey, at least he's into someone who's a good guy.
His work has never been non kid friendly, and he's funny. And weird. Be thankful your kid is listening to Weird Al instead of Yung Joc or 50 Cent.

4. Juergen listens to everything,
even 50 Cent, which he claims to hate. But his favorites are Sting and ELO. Harmless.

He knows them and sang a bit of it. I know the one song, anyway :)

11. It is now.
Or if you prefer: nerdique (sort of like the 'diamondique' they advertise on QVC when they aren't allowed to call it diamond, 'cause it's really glass). :)

13. The margaritas.
Way too cool a drink for nerds. You should switch to some ridiculous Estonian wheat beer to be a true nerd. And spend hours telling your friends about how it's produced. And the best way to drink it.

16. Hmm, perhaps you could...
Edited on Sat Oct-07-06 08:53 PM by Kutjara
...really learn all the nitty-gritty minutae about brands of tequila and the correct variety of lime and the preparation process and what constitutes the perfect one and where you can buy the best in various towns around the world and the correct vapor pressure and phase transition point to ensure the perfect effusion of aroma (taking account of atmospheric pressure, relative humidity and ambient temperature). Then you could tell anyone unwise enough to sit anywhere near you in a bar the full story of 'The Perfect Margarita.'

If you can get the explanation up to in excess of 45 minutes, I think you will have neatly neutralized any cool points you may have accrued from actually drinking margaritas. If you can do this in the expectation that your superior knowledge will get you a date, you will have become a true nerd.

20. Then I must be a Margarita nerd
Because I can already do that. but all my friends seem to enjoy talking about it to. And my knowledge of tequila along with sambuca got the interest of my Dave. We have been together for 2 1/2 years now.

And so are your friends. Congratulations! :)

On edit: Or you may be a wonk. I'm not sure of the exact distinction. But definitely either a nerd or a wonk.

27. A wonk is someone with an extremely deep...
...but narrow expertise in a particular topic. That would therefor make you a "margarita wonk."

9. I'm so white I'm actually pale blue...
...like unpasturized milk.

As for being nerdy, I do have an unfortunate ability to quote long tranches of Monty Python dialog. And I can exposit at length about events and personalities in the Star Trek universe.
