When billy met swimboy, Doug, tjwmason and MissHoneychurch

MissHoneychurch flew in yesterday and stayed the night. Today we both shambled our way to London to have lunch with swimboy, Doug and tjwmason. We ate in a charming little brasserie and a spiffing time was had by all. The food was excellent, although my salad was so dripping in oil that I think it probably completely neutralised any healthy qualities it might once have possessed. :D I also took a shine to one of the waitresses, which made up somewhat for the fact that the service was pretty poor, although they were rather busy. Fortunately we did not mind waiting because we were all having so much fun in each other's company. MissHoneychurch, swimboy, Doug and tjwmason are capital fellows all. I only took two photographs, because I was having too good a time to remember.

Here is MissHoneychurch, tjwmason and swimboy. I also managed apparently to catch a reflection of my own flash in the mirror. :eyes:



This is tjwmason, MissHoneychurch, swimboy and Doug on the street outside the café, in a part of London so rich you can almost smell the banknotes. :D



I seem to have quite a knack for catching reflections today. :banghead:

Honestly, I felt like such an oik! :blush:

Some of us merely know little restraint when it comes to being over-dressed :eyes:

I may even have worn trousers too. :D

with those guys I wish I had worn something else :blush:

Good thing that at least we two were dresses same style.

MissH is still waiting for the pictures she took with my digital. :blush: We downloaded too many shots into one file. I haven't figured out the best way to transfer them yet. MissH is pretty good at finding a one hour photo developing service.

And DU brings the world together! Looks like you had a great time! Don't worry about the reflections, billyskank, nobody even notices with faces as lovely as those! :)

it's funny to me how everyone there DRESSED UP. Is this a cultural statement? Should we Americans quake in our blue jeans and ribbed tees after viewing this display of CLASS? Mr. Writer's collection of stained wife-beater shirts and torn Levi's don't compare to this. ;)

Little brasseries do tend to be more Kensington-ish. I love the Kings Head and Eight Bells down on Cheyne Walk.

Were I in MissHoneychurch's place, surrounded by a bevy of such gorgeous men, I would immediately be reduced to a happy puddle of whimpering, quivering pheromones. Perhaps then it is no wonder that MissHoneychurch is looking especially lovely and radiant herownself.
